South Wing

Traci-Hipple Holden was a peer tutor at Kentwood High School for the students of South Wing. She spent 3 years of her life in getting close to know them and their parents.

Traci would take them bowling and out to eat before a movie,to help them learn to interact with other people and to teach them also how to pay for things and order. Helping them manage their money and how not to get ripped off.

The students learned mainly life skills. Cooking, house cleaning, social interaction. They would go grocery shopping and made lists. Used cookbooks and recipes from the items they bought. Every student was on a different skill level of learning.
